1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Wadge (“the App”), developed by MaduLabs (“we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Wadge is a salary and wage tracking application developed by MaduLabs that allows users to:

  • View their gross-to-net salary breakdown including tax, National Insurance, and other deductions
  • Calculate their hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly earnings
  • Use the “Can I Buy” calculator to see how long they need to work to afford a purchase
  • Track additional income sources including stocks, cryptocurrency, one-off income, and outgoings
  • View live stock and cryptocurrency prices

3. No Account Required

Wadge does not require account registration. All data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the security of your device and the data stored on it.

4. Financial Disclaimer

Wadge is not a financial advisory tool and does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. Tax calculations are estimates based on publicly available tax brackets and rates for supported countries (UK, US, Canada, Australia). Actual tax liability may differ based on your individual circumstances. Always consult a qualified tax professional or financial advisor for advice specific to your situation. MaduLabs is not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information from the App.

5. Live Price Data Disclaimer

Stock and cryptocurrency prices displayed in the App are sourced from third-party providers (Yahoo Finance and CoinGecko) and are provided on an “as is” basis. Prices may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable at times. MaduLabs does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any price data. Do not rely on Wadge for investment or trading decisions.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or its supporting infrastructure
  • Use automated systems to excessively query price data through the App

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MaduLabs and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Advertisements

Wadge displays advertisements through Google AdMob. These ads help support the continued development and maintenance of the App. Your interaction with advertisements is subject to the advertiser's own terms and privacy policies.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including Google AdMob, Yahoo Finance, and CoinGecko. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. MaduLabs is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied
  • MaduLabs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • MaduLabs is not liable for any financial loss resulting from reliance on tax calculations, price data, or any other information provided by the App
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any)

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MaduLabs and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the App or posting the revised Terms on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MaduLabs operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
