1. Introduction

Wadge is developed and operated by MaduLabs (“we”, “our”, or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

Wadge is designed with a privacy-first approach:

• Locally Stored Data: Your salary, work hours, country selection, tax options, and income sources (stocks, crypto, one-off income, outgoings) are stored exclusively on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
• Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data in accordance with Google's privacy policies.
• Price Data Requests: When you add stock or cryptocurrency sources, the app makes requests to external APIs (via a proxy) to fetch live prices. These requests may include the ticker symbols you've added but do not include any personal information.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To calculate your take-home pay and tax breakdown
• To display the “Can I Buy” calculator based on your hourly rate
• To fetch live prices for stocks and cryptocurrencies you've added
• To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob

4. Data Storage & Security

All personal data (salary, work schedule, income sources) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not operate servers that store your personal information. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, all your information is permanently deleted.

5. Third-Party Services

Wadge integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device information, advertising identifiers, and usage data. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
• Yahoo Finance & CoinGecko (via proxy): Used to fetch live stock and cryptocurrency prices. Only ticker symbols are sent in these requests — no personal data.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Since your data is stored locally on your device, we do not have access to it. The only data shared with third parties is through Google AdMob as described above.

7. Your Rights

Because your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

• View all your data within the app's Settings screen
• Modify your salary, work schedule, and income sources at any time
• Delete all your data by using the “Reset” option in Settings or by uninstalling the app
• Opt out of personalised advertising through your device's privacy settings

8. Children's Privacy

Wadge is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
